Warranty Statement: End Users (Personal Computers, Notebooks & Parts)
PartStock Computer provides a three-year warranty on all personal computers
(unless modified), one-year on all notebooks, 90 days on all parts and
30 days on notebook batteries. At PartStock's discretion, during the warranty
period PartStock will repair or replace any equipment found to be defective
or PartStock will issue credit. PartStock will also provide telephone
technical support if you have questions or problems while setting up or
using your equipment. Technical assistance is limited to the hardware
and a PartStock installed operating system. The warranty does not cover
damage to the equipment or operating system as a result of misuse or other
end user installed software.
Warranty Statement: Dealers/Brokers & Re-sellers (All Products)
PartStock Computer provides a 30-day warranty on all personal computers,
notebooks, parts and notebook batteries.
At PartStock's discretion, during the warranty period PartStock will repair
or replace any equipment found to be defective or PartStock will issue
credit. PartStock will also provide telephone technical support if you
have questions or problems while setting up or using your equipment. Technical
assistance is limited to the hardware and PartStock installed operating
system. The warranty does not cover damage to the equipment or operating
system as a result of misuse or other end user installed software.
Return Policy: End-Users (Schools & Businesses)
1. At PartStocks request, you should be prepared to return the following
items to PartStock at the address listed on the bottom of this page. However,
PartStock may or may not require the return of all defective parts/components.
Please discuss this with your sales or customer service representative.
HDD
80 GB & above, Processors, Memory, SCSI HDD, Server parts & LCDs:
2. The assigned RMA
(Return Material Authorization) number issued to you by customer service
must be plainly marked on the outside of the package.
3. Our technical staff will repair or replace your damaged or inoperable
equipment. We will then ship the repaired or replacement product to you
at our expense.
4. If the product returned to PartStock is determined to be in normal
working order or if the technical problem is the result of misuse or end
user installed software, you will have two choices:
1) we will issue a credit, less a 25% restocking fee and original shipping
cost, or
2) you will be charged a $30 inspection fee plus shipping to have the
product returned to you.
5. PartStock will issue a UPS call tag for the above-defined parts/components
to facilitate the return of the failed product.
6. All products returned for credit must be complete (i.e. all manuals,
keyboards, cables, a/c adapters, external CD-ROMs or floppy drives, etc.)
7. RMA product must be returned within 14 days of receiving the RMA number
or the replacement part will be billed.
